Actor Anushka Sharma surprised husband-cricketer Virat Kohli with a bunch of their photos on Instagram. They are celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary on Sunday. The first photo shared by Anushka has her and Virat Kohli, morphed into the film poster of Pari. The next one is a meme comparing them to Delhites. An unseen moment of Virat, in deep sleep, is also seen in a picture which was clicked after the actor’s delivery in a Mumbai hospital where she had their daughter Vamika. The little one’s face is hidden as the couple maintains privacy.

Sharing the post, Anushka explained her thoughts behind each photo. She wrote in a long post, “What better day than today to post these lovely pictures to celebrate us, my love! Pic 1 – me knowing you’ve always got my back Pic 2- forever holding gratitude in our hearts ( both getting incredibly lucky) Pic 3 – You resting on hospital bed a day-after my long and painful labour Pic 4 – Us keeping fine taste in things Pic 5- some random fellow Pic 6- you making most of my photos un-post-able with ur unique expressions. Pic 7- CHEERS TO US, MY LOVE TODAY, TOMORROW & FOREVER.”

Responding to it, Virat commented sarcastically, “You definitely have the best photos of me.” “My love,” he also added with emojis. Celebrities like Esha Gupta and Mouni Roy too showered love upon Anushka and Virat with red heart emojis in the comment section.

While Anushka opted for a rather quirky post to mark their 5 years of marriage, Virat dedicated a sweet post to her. He dropped a postcard-worthy photo of them posing during sunset. “5 years on a journey for eternity. How blessed I am to find you, I love you with all my heart,” he added in the caption. The actor replied, “Thank god you didn’t go for ‘payback’ post.”

Anushka and Virat met through an ad shoot in 2013 and the rest is history. After dating for years in secret and making news with their rumoured romance, they got married in a private ceremony at Italy’s Lake Como in December 2017. They became parents in 2021 with daughter, Vamika.
