Here we are with another unboxing video highlighting one of the industry’s top up-and-coming shoemakers: Ichigo Ichie Shoemaker. I had this pair under wraps for the last few weeks and was eagerly awaiting the unboxing as I only looked at it 5 minutes before making the video. Needless to say, I was thoroughly impressed, not only with the craftsmanship but also the price and fit.

Ichigo Ichie Shoemaker sent me a very nicely done split-toe derby in snuff suede with a contrast stitch. It was accompanied by a very fine storm welt, beveled waists with a fiddleback sole waist, and customized branded toe taps. This handmade shoe is priced right, with all of the details you want to see in a top-quality pair of shoes.

I can only imagine that Lee Trung, founder of the brand, will continue to impress with his unique designs and quality shoemaking. I have really enjoyed seeing his subtle unique designs. This model is actually one of his more calm creations. A classic per se. But many of his designs are carefully thought out with subtle details that he can stamp his name on. And that’s why I have always respected this craft from what I saw online only. But now I can also say that I respect his work in terms of the making as the shoes are top-notch for an insane price of only $650!
