Om Raut, who is gearing up to release his ambitious film ‘Adipurush’, headed straight to the Vaishno Devi Temple today to seek blessings for the success of the film.
The director headed to the famous temple along with producer Bhushan Kumar to offer prayers before officially commencing film promotions. According to reports, the director and his lead stars Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, are expected to begin promotions for the film, a month in advance of its June 16 release in theatres.

The film, headlined by Prabhas, was last scheduled to release in January, 2023. However, after a lot of backlash and trolling over the portrayal of the characters, the markers decided to delay the release.

It was initially set to release on August 11, 2022, but was delayed to complete VFX work.

The multilingual mythological drama, which is being touted as a film celebrating “the victory of good over evil”, is an on-screen adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana. It features Prabhas as Lord Ram and Saif as Lankesh. It also stars Sunny Singh in a prominent role.
